January 2018 – Rachel F. Ciccone, Esq., obtained a dismissal of a domestic violence charge in a local criminal court based on the district attorney’s failure to prosecute.
December 2017 – After a two-day trial on liability in a motor vehicle accident case first-chaired by Rachel F. Ciccone, Esq. and second-seated by Andrew W. Buder, Esq., the jury rendered a favorable Plaintiff’s verdict resulting in a settlement on damages.

December 2015 -John S. Kommer Esq. reached a settlement of a personal injury action after mediation in which the Plaintiff, a minor, was injured in an all-terrain vehicle collision that occurred on private property for $500,000.00.

Personal Injury Settlement, $425,000.00: At Mediation, John S. Kommer Esq. and Robert C. Ollman Esq. negotiated the settlement of a personal injury claim by a 92 year old Plaintiff in New York County. The Plaintiff suffered a fractured femur when hit by an Access-A-Ride vehicle while crossing a NYC street.
Personal Injury Verdict, $102,000: Following a two week trial, Michael C. Becker, Esq. obtained a verdict of $102,000 in Westchester County for a rear end collision involving a Plaintiff that suffered two herniated discs. The jury determined that the Plaintiff suffered a serious injury as defined by Insurance Law § 5102(d), which is a prerequisite for recovery in a motor vehicle accident.
Commercial Litigation involving The New Meadowlands Stadium, Settlement Amount Confidential: Michael C. Becker, Esq. negotiated a settlement of a large unpaid balance for work performed by one of our clients at the New Meadowlands Stadium project. As part of the settlement, the amount of the settlement is kept confidential.

Sale of Commercial Real Estate: Robert C. Ollman Esq. and John S. Kommer Esq. represented the seller in the complex sale of a car dealership property in New Rochelle, New York. The property was sold for in excess of $6,000,000.00.
Oil Company litigation: John S. Kommer Esq. represented an oil company that commenced an action to collect the balance due on the Defendants’ account and the action was settled during the Discovery stage of the litigation for $135,000.00. The action was pending in Bronx County.
Energy Company Litigation: Two actions commenced by on behalf of a natural gas supplier, were successfully settled by John S. Kommer Esq. for in excess of $120,000.00.
Personal Injury/Wrongful Death Settlement, $1,250,000.00: Michael C. Becker, Esq. recently concluded the settlement of a personal injury/wrongful death action involving a 28 year old construction worker who fell from a height and tragically lost his life six days following the accident. The decedent’s surviving family members received a settlement in excess of $1,250,000.00.
Patricia Bave Esq. lectured members of the Westchester Bar Association in a Continuing Legal Education Course given on the subject of Powers of Attorneys at the Holiday Inn in Mt. Kisco, New York.
Oil Company Litigation: A series of actions by an oil company against the owners of seven (7) properties situated in New York City were recently settled shortly before trial in the Bronx Civil Court. John S. Kommer Esq. and Rachel F. Ciccone Esq. represented the Plaintiff, a major oil company in Queens, New York.
Personal Injury Settlement, $100,000.00: John S. Kommer Esq. and Michael C. Becker Esq. negotiated the settlement of a personal injury action in which the Plaintiff was injured in an automobile collision that occurred at a New Rochelle intersection. The Plaintiff suffered an injury to his low back requiring surgery. Geico (Defendant’s carrier) paid the entire amount of its policy to Plaintiff in settlement of the action.
Commercial Transaction: Robert C. Ollman Esq. and John S. Kommer Esq. represented the sellers of real estate properties to purchasers in Bronx, New York. The properties sold for a total of $3,000,000.00 and were used as a Laundromat and car dealership.
Personal Injury Settlement at Jury Selection, $175,000.00: At the commencement of Jury Selection Michael C. Becker, Esq. obtained a settlement of $175,000 for a client who slipped and fell on ice in a private parking lot in New Rochelle, New York. The Plaintiff, who was 77 years old at the time of her accident, suffered a fractured femur requiring surgical intervention.

Personal Injury Settlement: $275,000.00 settlement negotiated by .John S. Kommer Esq. for a 65 year old man that stumbled but did not fall due pot hole in a parking lot and sustained an ankle fracture requiring open reduction and internal fixation.
