Joann D’Emilio, Esq.
Joann D’Emilio is a senior associate attorney with Kommer Bave & Ollman LLP. Since 2007, Ms. D’Emilio’s practice has focused on Trusts and Estates, and Elder Law and Special Needs matters. She has experience in a wide range of related areas, including drafting Wills and lifetime Trusts, working with clients on asset protection strategies, representing executors, administrators, guardians and trustees on all aspects of estate and trust administration, and Medicaid and benefits planning and applications. Ms. D’Emilio has lectured on Medicaid Law, Probate proceedings, and Trust Administration for the National Business Institute.
Ms. D’Emilio is a member of the New York Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section, and Elder Law Section, and a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and the New Rochelle Bar Association. She is also a Trustee of the Village of Ardsley, New York.
Ms. D’Emilio is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S. with Distinction) and St. John’s University School of Law (J.D. cum laude). She is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
